The Croft
The Croft offers ground floor accommodation with private parking and an enclosed outdoor seating area.
Situated in the heart of Sedgefield with its bustling shops, restaurant, cafés and bars, it provides level entry access suitable for wheelchair users or for guests with limited mobility.
Open plan living space – all on the ground floor:
Living area: With 32″ Freeview TV and DVD player.
Dining area. Seats 4 people
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Bedroom: With double bed and single bed. Additional foldout bed for 4th person.
Wet room: With shower, toilet, grab rails and shower seat.
Outside:
Private parking space for guests using The Croft (3.6 metre width). Please note this car park is also used by visitors at Durham House. Private, enclosed outdoor seating area.
Dogs: One well behaved dog is allowed by prior arrangement. It must remain downstairs and guests are responsible for ensuring that any excess hair is removed. Any dog mess must be cleared away from the grounds before departure.

Disabled access:
Sufficient wheelchair access to dining table, convenient parking outside cottage, wheel-under kitchen benches, widened doors and hallways. Sufficient wheelchair access around bedroom. Wheelchair-accessible shower room, wheelchair turning space in shower room, room for carer/carers in shower room, grab rails in shower room, easy access to wash basin, shower controls reachable when seated.
The Croft can be booked with Durham House for those requiring ground floor accommodation. Door width to the Croft is 930mm. Door widths in Durham House are standard 720mm. There is access to the Durham House through the kitchen door which is 720mm wide. There is also ramped access to Durham House through the bi fold doors which can be opened to accommodate a wheelchair. This will give access to the sitting area, however, there are then 2 steps and a standard door through to the bar area and the dining room.
